Support Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

The year 2015-16 was a transformational one for Scotland’s largest children’s hospital, and for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity. Following the move of the hospital from the Yorkhill site in June 2015, they have now taken place at the heart of the new Royal Hospital for Children at its new location within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus.
As part of project 140.6 and an ambassador for Glasgows Children's Hospital I hope to raise awareness of the work they do but also money to support the children and families who benefit from this amazing place. I have spent  most of my life in and out of hospitals and know first hand what it feels like. Lets be honest no one wants to be there, especially as a child. So by making this experience easier for the children and families is a real passion of mine. Please take a few seconds out of your day to have a look at the work this amazing place does and support. Thank you.

Through the support the hospital has been able to achieve the following;

Enhanced Medical Equipment, helping hospital staff deliver the best possible medical care;

Family Support Services, providing reassurance and practical support during dark and difficult times;

Hospital Programmes, bringing joy and excitement to children every day with the help of volunteers and our innovative play and events programme;

Paediatric Research, leading the way to better treatment and care for children today and for generations to come.

Your donation will help to support the 168,000 babies, children and young people treated each year at Scotland's largest children's hospital.
